Description

Galmet® Cold Galvanizing is an organic zinch rich protective coating with over 92% zinc in dry film. Galmet® Cold Galvanizing provides long term protection to steel because of the cathodic (galvanic) action between the steel & the metallic zinc in the coating. This action prevents rust from developing under Galmet® Cold Galvanizing. It also produces a self healing mechanism where the Galmet® Cold Galvanizing is scratched; zinc oxides & carbonates form in the scratch & effectively reseal it. Metallic zinc coatings are universally accepted as the best method of rust prevention. Applications: Welds & damaged galvanizing, steel structures, tank exteriors, wrought iron. MPI Approved C23 & AsureQuality Approved, MPI Dairy Approved & Recognised. Heat Resistant up to 150°C. Coverage Brush/Spray = 6 sq m/L@75 micron DFT
